Declaring a Coastal & Marine Sciences Minor 

 

If you are interested in declaring a Minor in Coastal & Marine Sciences, please:

  1. Review the Curriculum to ensure you have completed, or can complete in your time remaining at W&M, all requirements
  2. Complete the Minor Declaration form (link below). In the space available to list courses completed, be sure to include:
    1. A total of at least 18 credits (if you are using more than one 1-cr MSCI 201 or 398 course, you may need to list multiple courses in a single row, or using extra space elsewhere on the form)
    2. Introduction to Marine Science
    3. A field class (MSCI 331, 332, 333, or other approved version)
    4. One of the Biological Sciences Electives listed on the curriculum page
    5. One of the Physical Sciences Electives listed on the curriculum page
  3. Email the completed form to co-directors Dr. Christopher Hein or [A&S co-director position currently vacant].
