Our Solar Power in Action
CCRM solar power generation and electric vehicle
This month CCRM solar panels generated - kWh of power. We used - kWh to charge the electric vehicle, sending - kWh back to the grid. By generating this electricity, we've avoided about - lb of CO₂ emissions — equivalent to the amount absorbed by - mature trees in a year.

As part of its general mission to support informed management of the Commonwealth's coastal resources, the Center collaborates with other groups to offer a variety of educational programs to diverse audiences. The Center maintains a teaching marsh on the VIMS campus; offers lectures, short courses, and information material; and provides technical expertise on community projects.
