Garden Club of America Graduate Scholarship in Coastal Wetlands Studies


The following items should be addressed within the Project Statement narrative component of your application package:

  • How is the proposed research relevant to proposed to coastal wetlands research gaps in the United States?
  • How is the proposed research topic interesting and relevant to a wide audience in terms of how it can be applied (e.g., for policy development, regulatory development, continuation of on-going academic research, other?)
  • Clearly-stated and well-developed hypothesis
  • Clearly developed experimental design method that is feasible to conduct within the proposed project period?
  • Will successful experimental design research outcomes be likely? If so, how?
  • Are expected results based on science?

Applications will also be scored based on how well they are written and organized.
