Reece explains nature of local algal blooms
VIMS professor Kimberly Reece is interviewed by WVEC reporter Velma Scaife concerning the recent appearance of "red tides" or algal bloooms in lower Chesapeake Bay.
The Batten School & VIMS campus will be closed on Monday, March 15 due to the National Weather Service prediction for severe weather including periods of rain, damaging winds and the potential for tornadoes.
