Grant Opportunities

There are two grant opportunities coordinated by the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, Marine Advisory Program, and other community partners.

Boating Infrastructure Grant (BIG)

Funding opportunity that provides and enhances infrastructure at boating facilities for transient recreational vessels 26 feet or more in length.

Fishery Resource Grant (FRG)

Competitive grant program to fund commercial fishers who have ideas to conserve the resource and improve fishing efficiency.
