Marine & Aquaculture Molecular Genetics

The main objective of this program is molecular genetic studies of aquaculture species and aquatic pathogens. Emphasis is on oyster genomics, molecular phylogenetics, population genetics, and the development of molecular diagnostics for viral, bacterial, and protozoan disease agents.
