Hurricane Ecosystem Response Synthesis Network

The HERS Research Coordination Network is an NSF funded project dedicated to connecting natural scientists, economists, sociologists, statisticians, modelers, and resource managers to develop a global understanding for what governs ecosystems responses to tropical cyclones. Additionally, we aim to synthesize a growing, publicly available database on ecosystem responses to hurricanes as part of our core effort. We hope to connect people globally by organizing multi-day workshops, conferences, and webinar events.
