Minor in Coastal & Marine Sciences

The undergraduate minor in Coastal & Marine Sciences is a collaborative program between the W&M College of Arts & Sciences and the Batten School of Coastal & Marine Sciences at VIMS. Students in the minor complete coursework, conduct research and engage with policy. The Minor addresses the growing national demand for undergraduate education in earth, marine, and environmental sciences and prepares students for graduate programs, state and federal agencies, and industry positions throughout the country.

Interested students are provided with a coherent experience through the interdisciplinary Curriculum for the Coastal & Marine Sciences Minor. Feel free to reach out to any of the faculty leadership on the Coastal & Marine Sciences Minor Advisory Committee. W&M students must declare a minor before the end of add/drop in the semester they plan to graduate. Earlier is better!

Questions and inquiries should be directed to William & Mary Admissions.
