Know Your York Watershed System - is CBNERR-VA's monthly webinar series dedicated to hot watershed topics. Each month, we'll hear from the folks behind the State of the York Watershed System, catching up on the latest and learning where action is needed. This webinar series is designed for those who live, work and/or play in the York Watershed System and are eager to create positive ripple effects with just a DROP!
Episode 7: Virginia, outdoors! Getting out on your public lands and in our shared waters
The York Watershed System is home to approximately 70 public access sites offering opportunities for outdoor, water-based recreation accessible by land. Learn more about these sites, how to find them, and opportunities for more public access in the System. We'll focus on Virginia's statewide plan for conservation, outdoor recreation and open-space planning with a look at what this means for the System's recreators and land managers alike. Love your outdoors? Manage public spaces? Need help finding resources to improve your favorite public places? Join us - and help put that R in our DROP call to action!
