The Batten School & VIMS campus will be closed on Monday, March 15 due to the National Weather Service prediction for severe weather including periods of rain, damaging winds and the potential for tornadoes.

Learn about the most common fish and wildlife living in the Teaching Marsh and surrounding coastal habitats.  Many species of fish, invertebrates, birds and mammals are found here.  These animals are adapted to fluctuating water levels, salinity, and seasonal changes.
