The Batten School & VIMS campus will be closed on Monday, March 15 due to the National Weather Service prediction for severe weather including periods of rain, damaging winds and the potential for tornadoes.

Facility Rentals

The Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) rents conference rooms, a 275-person auditorium, and classrooms to external groups. These spaces may be rented for meetings, lectures and other not-for-profit functions. Furniture, linens, coffee/tea and other set-ups can also be arranged for on-site events.
