Sea Nettles

The percent chance of encountering sea nettles (Chrysaora Chesapeake) in the Chesapeake Bay is predicted using CBEFS forecasts of salinity and water temperature, based on Decker et al. (2007) and Brown et al. (2010). This forecast is part of an ongoing multi-year research project. Please use it for informational purposes only. Note that sea nettles are also called bay nettles.
